The HBASC’s 25th Annual  Contractors Yard Sale will benefit youth training programs this year, so be sure to shop till you drop for a great cause and fantastic prices!

With lumber prices at record highs and supply chains maintaining their sluggish pace, the HBASC’s 25th Annual Contractors Yard Sale is back, and just in the nick of time!

Join us this year at the Durango High School parking lot on June 26th from 8am-3pm for a full day of great prices on great building materials donated by our members and their vendors:

Alpine Lumber, Studs Lumber, Builder’s First Source and Lewis True Value

This year we will be partnering with our Youth Investments Program to continue to bring qualified skills and training into our community’s workforce as students graduate from high school.

Partial proceeds will benefit our region’s SkillsUSA program as well as the HBASC’s Trades in Training (TNT), ‘Tool Up’ and ‘Building the Future’ scholarship programs.  This fundraiser will ensure the expansion of the programs’ needs, such as adding the TNT curriculum to 3 more schools in our region, purchasing tools for students moving straight into the trades, offering scholarship funds to students furthering their education in the trades and the many levels of training SkillsUSA offers their students. All of the training and help these students receive make it possible for us to help close the skilled workforce gap that we continue to see across our communities and country.

We would also like to thank our Founding and Honorary members who believed it was important to bring awareness to attainable housing issues to our community in a fun and exciting way. For more than 20 years, these dedicated volunteers breathed life into this event, and continued to offer guidance even after retiring.
