Inaugural Ball & Chains Golf Tournament at Hillcrest Golf Club: June 16th, 2021

The first of its kind, this 18-hole scramble with a shotgun start will feature 9 holes of traditional ball golf with 9 holes of disc golf throughout the course. Beginner clinics for both ball and disc golf are included with your registration to even the playing field for all and a 3-disc pack is provided for all players. Ever been curious about the other side of golf? Come find out how much both sports have in common and compete for cash prizes and a NEW CAR with a hole-in-one from Morehart Regional Auto Center! Player Enhancement packages and Blackmail Insurance are available to bring down your score and keep the paparazzi pictures from our tabloid columns! 10th Annual HBASC Golf Tournament at Dalton Ranch: August 12th, 2021

The annual HBASC Golf Tournament is one of our most popular events with this year seeing live music and a culmination lunch and silent auction! This is an 18-hole scramble with a shotgun start where you can purchase mulligans, a putting contest with additional cash prizes and blackmail insurance to keep those candid camera moments off our social media pages. The tournament accommodates 108 players but many more sponsors so be sure to contact the office today to reserve your spot.

Proceeds of both tournaments support the HBASC and help us maintain our operations throughout the year as well as our Trades in Training program that we launched in 2017 to close the gap of skilled labor by getting our youth the training they need to launch a successful career in a skilled trade.

THE COURSE

Hillcrest Golf Club is Durango’s municipal public course that offers amazing views of the La Plata mountain range atop the bluff near Fort Lewis College. This course is both challenging and fun, especially with more relaxed formats, located at 2300 Rim Dr, Durango, CO 81301.

Dalton Ranch is situated in the magnificent Animas valley, enclosed in the towering red cliffs of the San Juan mountains. The 18-hole course is rests on over 270 acres where the Animas River winds through. It is located at 589 County Road 252, in Durango.

THE PRIZES

HBASC Golf Tournaments feature tons of gifts and prizes from local businesses, including a NEW CAR from Morehart Murphy Regional Auto Center if you get a qualified hole-in-one at EACH tournament and ancillary prizes for every PAR 3. There’s also a silent auction where you can bid on gift packages and support your local home builders association.
